Mountain biking, a bike that goes off the beaten track

The mountain bike is a mountain bike that allows ease of movement. Widely acclaimed by cyclists, mountain biking is appreciated by frequent cyclists but also by those who wish to discover sensations. The Arcachon Basin is popular for its many cycle paths. However, most of them are made of dirt and sturdy paths.

Choose your mountain bike … according to your needs

The pine forests that make up the Arcachon Basin are magical and soothing places to visit. Bike rides in these places are quiet times away from the hustle and bustle of life. However, one should think about choosing a bike that is capable of practicing these routes. Advice to adventurers, mountain biking is made for practicing paths in the middle of the forest. For children or adults, mountain biking adapts to everyone. When choosing the size of a children’s bike, you need to consider the height of the child as well as the size of the wheels on the bike. For an adult it differs slightly. There are several measurements to take into account such as height, arm range and crotch size. Choosing the right size for your bike avoids any imbalance and therefore great fears. The Cocci’Vélos teams will be happy to answer your questions and help you find the best bike size. Whether you want to acquire one or rent it, here are several brands that are competent and of quality. LAPIERRE bikes are benchmarks in the industry. The EDGE 3.9 model is ideal for weekend outings on fairly passable trails. The ORBEA brand also performs very well in its category. The ALMA 29 and the LAUFEY H30 are two models that feature an attractive design and pleasant driving comfort.

Mountain biking trails on the Arcachon Bay
